The link above provides access to my appraisal from the 2014-15 school year. This is my first appraisal during my time at Starks Field. Some of the appraisal targets don’t apply specifically to me, but are general post-Ofsted targets provided to all teachers (Pupil Progress Meetings, use of APP). Although I inquired about the relevance of certain targets, Davindar insisted that it was fine for the targets to remain in the appraisal. Listed below is a summary of the information in the appraisal document.
The targets for 2013-14 included:
- To ensure all teaching is consistently good and better.
- Lead Music
I met both of those targets.
My targets for 2014-15 included:
- Plan and teach well structured engaging lessons to promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
- Manage behaviour effectively
- Subject leadership (Music): Ensure subject meets requirements and that pupils make good progress in music
- Begin Teacher Qualification Course
