I have constructed a learning environment to promote positive attitudes, values and behaviour. Listed below are pictures with captions that illustrate how I achieve this affect in my classroom.

Starks Field promotes a set of Golden Rules, which I have displayed in two areas in my classroom. These posters serve as a reminder of the behaviour expectations and the school’s collective values.

I have a set of faces that correlate with the school’s Traffic Light behaviour system. This provides a visual reminder that encourages all children to demonstrate “Green Level” behaviour.

This poster displays the children who have taken their music exams. The goal is to recognize children who have achieved highly in music, while motivating them and others to make as much musical progress as possible. This will hopefully encourage a positive work ethic and attitude toward learning.
